Mechanical Engraving

This is just like it sounds.  The engraving is done on a machine that is controlled by a computer via graphics software.  This type of engraving is at the heart of operations in a modern shop.  The item to be engraved is clamped into place in the set-up phase of the operation.  The customers "message" is entered into the computer and the computer is show where the boundaries of the piece to be engraved are located.  The computer driven machine is essential in today's market place to respond to the demands of the modern consumer. Rather expensive to purchase, they offer quicker turn around and a larger choice of fonts than a pantograph.
