To become ISO 9001-2015 ISO14001-2015 compliant, Scorpion underwent a yearlong evaluation process that included quality management system to demonstrate its ability to inherently provide products & services to meet customers / relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.   The evaluation also included a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that elimination non-conformance to the quality management standard.
The certification of compliance with ISO 9001-2015 & ISO14001-2015 recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of our company to ensure consistent quality in our products and services to clients.   With these certifications in hand, our clients are guaranteed by Scorpion that it is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of efficiency and responsiveness in achieving - customer satisfaction!

SA 8000  Social Accountability International also known as SAI promotes workers' rights through their voluntary standards known as SA8000.  Based on the International Labor Organization (ILO) standards and U.N. Human Rights Conventions, SA8000 is widely accepted as the most viable and comprehensive international ethical workplace management system available.   The SA8000 standard is a leading labor and human rights standard that incorporates third-party monitoring and innovative management systems.  SA8000 has proven to provide a sustainable framework for improving the social performance of companies.   

In short, should you have requests to perform an "ethical trade" audit in the future, please inform customer SA8000 is an extended / deeper version of the ethical trade report.  Our SA8000 also includes the human right accreditations, which should satisfy most companies' requirements & help save costs.

SMETA (Social Responsibilities) stands for Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit, and it incorporates three elements:

-A common best practice guidance on conducting ethical trade audits

-A common audit report format

-A common corrective action plan format

SMETA guidance and report formats were developed by the Sedex Associate Auditor Group in response to the challenge from Sedex members to provide a report format for ethical trade audits that could more easily be shared and to give greater transparency into the auditor qualifications and practices that underpin reports.
